the METABOLIC
SYNDROM

A continuously wrong choice of food (*components, *ratio of com- ponents and *total amount) may lead, depending on the personal factors *balance of sex hormones, *intestine efficiency, *thyroid activity, to disorders, symptoms, like *central obesity (waist circum- ference), *raised triglyceride (=TG)-level, *reduced HDL- cholesterol, *reduced taking up of plasma insulin, *raised blood pressure.
Reversely, when one or more of these symptoms is identified,    has this been caused by "continued wrong choice of food", or stated better, by "a habitual wrong diet"?   To answer this, IDF

the International Diabetes Federation,

has coupled symptons to a habitual wrong diet in a world wide definition 108) M.S.,
